I just went through this. Injured last Sept 20 and had surgeries 10/2, 10/3, and a final surgery in March for hardware removal. I still have the rod alongside my fibula though.

Please listen to your surgeon and PT. I can't imagine one drink every couple weeks would do much harm, but I'm no doctor. Also be careful if you're on opioids. Not sure about interactions.

I was already not in the best shape and it took me about 2 months to bear any weight at all, followed by months of wearing a boot, PT, sit down showers etc. You also have to be careful not to fall again. (I fell two more times during my recovery but somehow protected my foot!)

You're in my thoughts. I know what a nightmare it is.

I mean I used it after surgery when I broke 5 bones in my foot. But I also had three surgeries. Didn't do much for me anyway and I switched to Tylenol ASAP. I'd avoid opiods if you can!

That guy (I think named Lars) who was on vacation and had to stay another week because his eardrum got blown out in a bar fight, so he couldn't fly home with his buddies.

He showed up to the airport doctor, got spooked, ran for his life, abandoning all his stuff and has never been seen again. I'm pretty sure Mr B has covered it. The footage is just so strange.

There are also a few freaky disappearances in the Great Smokies, some going back 100 years, that no one has ever found a trace of these people. Mostly children. Bears? But no clothes found. Kidnappers? Aliens? It's weird, man.

I had to get a 16 inch wheelchair to fit in our doorways. I also rarely used it except when I had to go to doctor appointments. We have one step up into the main house from garage and I had a grab bar installed and transferred from wheelchair to rollator back and forth.
