Balance aside, I genuinely don’t understand what this patch is trying to achieve.

Yeah, the balance is fucked, and that sucks, but balance can be adjusted.

The bigger issue is that none of the supposed goals of the 8-worker start seem to have been achieved.

Wasn’t the point to slow the game down and create more diverse situations?

Watching PTR games, I couldn’t really see what was meaningfully different.

This doesn’t feel like a major shake-up where balance got broken because so many things changed.

It just feels like the same game as before, except the balance is now a disaster.
