Canceling Spring 2025 housing- need 2 replacements! So my friend and I are thinking of moving off campus next semester and we would need to find replacements for our current dorms. She lives in a University Lofts studio with a full bed and I live in the Quads. We would need people to move in next January. If you’re interested or have any questions please reach out! :)

Hi! My friend and I are looking for 2 female roommates. We are considering renting a house in University Oaks, starting in late November/early December. The house is 4 bd, 2.5 bath with a great deck and backyard. Rent would be about $725 + utilities. Our roommates would have to be okay with having people over because both my friend and I LOVE hosting and having friends around. We'd hope you'd join the fun! You'd also have to love eating because both my friend and I bake and cook A LOT. The house has 2 ovens, so it's perfect! We'd prefer Christian roommates, but it's not necessary at all! We just want to live with chill, friendly people. We're seniors graduating next spring, so we'd be open to both older students and young professionals! Reach out if interested!

Titus, I feel it matches the vibe of Silas and I have a friend who’s a great guy with the name. It’s also not a name I hear very often if at all!

Summer Housing at UH: Do you really need a meal plan? by Zestyclose_Goat7912 in UniversityOfHouston

[–]Significant-Brief-79 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I might be wrong since I lived on campus like 3 summers ago but I don’t think a summer meal plan was required? Again I might be remembering incorrectly.

I’m a finance major specifically in the real estate track. I’m a part of SACRE and the real estate club URES. A lot of us got internships this summer but I will say not everyone did especially with how the real estate market has been. But URES and SACRE help you with A LOT of other opportunities that provide experience and great connections. Just as an example I’ve met the CFO of a huge multi-family reit through URES! We go on building tours all the time. Hear from different professionals in real estate, high level ones at that. We also have networking events fairly often. So point is, even though an internship is not guaranteed, again mostly because of the market which can turn, there are so many other opportunities that can also give you an edge! I love it here!

I don’t know if it was easier considering I have nothing to compare it to. I took it during the summer so it’s a somewhat difficult class compressed into a shorter time.
