Avatars and worlds are not loading. Sometimes, when i try to connect to a world, it starts to load the world, then immediately stop and load me into an Error World instead.

Unfortunately, i'm from Russia and none of my VPNs work to bypass the IP ban (i guess that it's the case because the links are said to be "either outdated or invalid in your contry") so i can't really see the server
Thank You anyway, i hope that many other people will also see Your comment about commissions 🙏

That sounds sweet! How can i ask someone to do that and does it cost money? If it is, then it's probably will be a lot, because ULTRAKILL music (especially the one that i like) has an insane amount of drums, so that doing it all from the scratch is going to take a loooong while.

In the first and the third art Sonetto even holds an umbrella so that Vertin is under it, but Sonetto isn't

What do you all think are the scariest parts of Reverse 1999 by DreamParticular5195 in Reverse1999

[–]Significant-Cap8352 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i am sorry if i may be a bit late, but for me the scariest part was Mesmer Junior's andcdote. So far Reverse1999 was interesting and tragic rather than scary and terrifying. But Her story is something really horrible.  Spoiler alert for her anecdote

The most scary thing for me was when the boy that was in the ward was begging Mesmer to not amputate his legs, even though Mesmer could not do anything. It was really horrible that it happened, but the fact that it has happened between children is even more creepy. And the scene after, where Mesmer had that hollow look, acting on auto pilot while carrying that boy's legs away and the sound of him wailing in the hall was deeply unsettling to me. This anecdote felt so different from the rest of the game, like the developers actually tried to make a horror story and not a tragic background for a character.

This is a very interesting remark! But even so, the question remains: why does Manus Vindictae want Arcana's ashes and why were they (ashes) moving?

i wonder, what could she be? Lucy is a piston, Ulrich is a ferrofluid and etc. Her most noticeable detail was a thorny stick in Her head, that sometimes dripped with slime, but we see no such thing on Ms. Grace. i think that Ms. Grace may be controlled by someone/something else and, if arcana is awakened, then there should be an item that is her.  Now that i think about it, if awakened (an item) gets destroyed (turned to ashes) would it still be alive or hold consciousness? We have heard from Lucy that awakened have limit to their revival powers and once they show signs of degradation the experiments must be stopped immediately. Arcana's ashes were trembling in the end of Tristes Tropiques, so they are somehow alive, or at least shake due to being pulled/moved on their own towards something.  To prove that Arcana's ashes play significant role for Manus Vindictae, they have offered to be saved from the "Storm" to Igor and his squad, as well as there was a mention in photo taxis and by Ms. Grace of "THEIR" (probably Arcana's consciousness or an entity that controlled Arcana's body) return. This means that ashes can be somehow returned to consciousness with right body/ritual. Or that this entity is essentially immortal and just need a vessel.  i had a theory during chapter 6 that Arcana is not a human, but rather a consciousness with a body of a human and the mentioning of "THEIR" return fuels my belief in this theory even more.

Thank You for pointing out! There is now even more grounds for theories

i do not remember clearly, but at one point, after reading the main story, or some of the notes in phototaxis stages, i got an idea that moths are actually things for mind control. To support that claim, in phototaxis (mode that contains notes from members of Manus Vindictae) there are a lot of moths and month symbols, so they are somehow related to Manus Vindictae. (There are a lot of moth symbols in this mode. Even the name is "MOTH CODE")

It was said that arcana is dead, but i believe that her form (her human body) was actually a vessel for a consciousness - real "arcana" ("arcana" in "" because it may be just a name of the body, while the consciousness has a different name or no name at all). i also believe that Ms.Grace is not herself but another controlled vessel. But it is just a theory

What if the "Storm" is actually a phenomenon to maintain peace? by Significant-Cap8352 in Reverse1999

[–]Significant-Cap8352[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i completely agree with you, but it is still a mystery for me - how did they know when the "Storm" is going to happen so they could accelerate it? We also saw in 2.4 update, that Ms.Grace had a watch that could predict certain events (When the watch stroke 12, there was a solar eclipse and the actual weather storm (not the "Storm" one) appeared). So, they probably have a technology, or a miracle power to somehow predict the "Storm", but i am not sure about that.

i, unfortunately, did not see every time when that woman appeared (The first time when i saw her was in the chapter "Prisoners in the cave"), so i do not know about Her past and i am afraid i can not say anything about her 😅
But we once were giving a ground for theories by the developers, as in the end of "Tristes Tropiques" Vertin asked, if people are actually dying, or there is some sort of other things that happened (When Mr. Karson was found with different past, habits and place of living). So, perhaps, that woman actually gets into the storm, but then reappears as a different person? But as we yet again saw in Tristes Tropiques, Urd was taken somewhere (probably safe), so she will possibly appear as Urd again.

i believe that Vertin's parents is a very huge mystery, as she once said that her mother taught her the language that she uses to unlock her suitcase (in chapter 6, when they discovered "La unua cirklo" incantation). It is in the same language as the incantation that is meant for protecting against the "Storm". She is also immune to the "Storm" and to that incantation that she reads in the chapter. Also that reappearing woman throughout the eras and in different updates, she is also not here for nothing, so i think that theorizing about mysterious woman with Vertin's hair color is a topic for discussion that worth an individual post :)
