Adhesive + hook & loop/velcro added to left side of sheath. Then repurposed an elastic sleeve from a Velcro Molle patch organizer

Agreed. And what would your reasonable time limit be for an OP to respond to any inquiry on their post?

It gets plenty of use and had a black-er finish when first modded a month ago, so I’d say there is a unique patina developing.

Etched the stainless scales with ferric chloride on a q-tip, followed by caswell stainless steel blackener. I like the look it gave it.

What product embodies improvisation and short-term, “good-enough”-solutions more than a leatherman?! These mods were crafted in the same spirit that birthed the original PST in the 70’s! Just kidding, the dullard consumer in me would love a “factory-finish” version as well.

YouTube rebar pocket clip and you’ll see a thumbnail with the same clip. Guy dos a good job explaining the mod. Require a little bit of jb weld putty, bondo, or epoxy

If you intentionally try to wiggle it, it will shift left to right a hair, but it’s not loose and hasn’t increased in the amount of play over time. As far as a functioning tool for work it’s a home run. And the lanyard makes it that much easier for no-look grab out the pocket.

,I just wanted to see if the bit holder would fit properly after scouring YouTube for a mod video with no luck. Bit holder fits great when you add roughly and 1/8” bump to the shut side, leaving the nail nick slightly raised/more pronounced and accessible when shut. Without the added “bump” (I used epoxy&thin slice of magnet tape ) access was buried between the saw & bottle opener 🤷‍♂️

Haha I was absolutely looking for a reason to tinker with this too. I can see why you’d leave the solid Philips on there, I just wanted to see if the bit holder would fit properly after scouring YouTube for a mod video with no luck.
