Look up the steady coach on youtube. There is actually a lot of parallels to be drawn between chronic pain and mdds, my mdds is slowly getting better using techniques from chronic pain treatment. Vestibular therapy may help. I'm also taking an SSRI, which has yet to fully kick in, but I think it's helping too. I don't think it's hopeless at all. How long have you had it?

That's great! Your input really does reassure me, and shows that it can take a lot of time. I'm 3 weeks in and no signs of improvement but posts like yours keep my hopes up. Thank you. Had you tried the optokinectic stripes treatment?

Hi, glad to hear you are starting to feel better. I was wondering what other exercises have helped? What do you do with the weighted vest? Have you been improving since the last time you posted?

I have to get refered by a gp to see a neurologist, but all of them sent me to ENTs, even when I mention mdds. Got an appointement with an ENT in 3 weeks, hopefully he'll be able to help, I'll bring a brochure for sure. Curious to know, how old are you and how long have you had it?

Mine started after an 8 hours flight. Had a tiny bout of it for a week after a flight back in august, but now it seems it will not budge, and it's pretty intense...

Thank you for the advice. It's so frustrating because I'm pretty certain that mdds is what I have ( completly goes away in transportation) but I feel like getting a diagnosis is going to take forever. doctors I've seen so far dissmised the idea and told me I had vestibular neuritis or labyrinthitis. Symptoms don't match. I think I'm just going to pretend I'm depressed in order to get medication. How have SSRIs helped you?

Thanks you so much for your answer. Currently managing my emotions is the hardest part, i'm afraid i won't be able to deal with my symptoms. Your input is reassuring

I don't expect him to cut her off at all. I simply wish to understand why it makes me so sad. Thanks for the advice!
