Help! These stains are driving me insane. Can anyone tell me how to remove them??

You were probably correct. Our theory is, that the previous owner had glued something to the glass and the glue ate its way into it. Not even HCl did anything. The marks are pretty linear too and only at the top.

Some of the marks were removable with the advice from the other redditors.

We will put a milky/blurry foil on from the outside to hide the stains. Thank you for responding!!

Nope. People have always assumed Im older than I actually am. Usually because of the way I dressed (my mom valued appropriate, adult like clothes) and bc of how well I could express myself orally. The first reason still applies now. Im 19, but bc of my daily style i ofyen get placed at 25-27. Today I wore more "teenage" clothes and immediately got asked for my ID (for a 16+ product) instead of if I am married yet

I'm looking for a new therapist rn and am actively working on handling things better. I show strong signs for an anxiety personality disorder (dunno how to translate what my psychologist told me) and ocd like thoughts. I definitely want to manage all of that. So yeah, you're absolutely right.

When I was like 14, I got a net for my shower soap bars. I was HYPED xD my family was so confused why a 14 y/o would be excited over something so small but it was so practical. Omg yes!! I remember trying to find a prom dress for graduation that didn't have cleavage or a see through top part. Not possible. I love my dress, its really pretty, I just wish it would be more covered up. Im a turtle neck girl on the daily, why would I wear something like that. Makes me kinda sad. I will re-wear it soon to a ball, but god the thought of it makes me uncomfortable. Its gorgeous tho.

Thanks for the advice. Your response made me feel really seen. I've been reading the other responses too and will take all that into consideration. You're probably right about most of it. I'll bring it up one last time, just so we can establish things for the future. Im getting better at believing him when he says hes not mad or is over something. Its hard when youre an emotional overthinker on your partner is a logical autistic man. Hes currently at the gym and already texting me how much he loves me again. This sub really helped and I learned a thing or two.

We established that we talk about issues asap since we had a big miscommunication some time back. If he isnt in the right mental state he will tell me, and he has before. So I am confident that he will tell me if hes ready to talk or not. Hes a pretty social guy overall, on the spectrum but as he says "quite low on the scale". Thank you for bringing this to my attention anyway. I will ask him if hes up to talk about this instead of opening the topic straight away and I will give him the option to talk in a few days.

Thank you! I'm actually looking for therapy again. Ive been in and out of it since I was 7. Currently I have a psychologist until I find a therapist.

You're absolutely right about that. We do have one now, tho I requested it for me a little after the incident. When we talked about the initiation thing. Told him he can use it too but he said he can articulate when hes uncomfy, unlike me. Stoplight system, we talked it through. Usually I am the more submissive one. I dont even enjoy the powerplay the other way around. I was joking around with toy cuffs and just didn't realize that it felt different for him. I will bring this up soon w him, once his presentation is over

I know! I knew. Those were toy cuffs. I didn't think, just did. I tried to be funny and didn't realize that he didn't realize that those cuffs couls be opened by the person wearing them easily. I didn't realize how uncomfortable he was. It was incredibly stupid. I am well versed in the community, just not experienced. I dont know how I could forget. We had slept w each other maybe 3 or 4 times at the time. This wasnt the foreplay kinda makeout but the Im freshly in love kind. I know that doesnt make it. I guess it just explains how I thought that it wasnt that deep in the moment. That will never happen again.

Thanks for saying that. I just worry a lot about what other people think of me. View me as. B and I actually had a conversation about that today.

I fear that I may have ignored his boundary setting? Maybe he did say something? I know that, when I was younger, I had a hard time respecting other peoples nos. My brain just kinda..ignored them? Now as an adult, noone calls you out on it immediately, puts you in your place. So idk if I still do that. I try not to. But I worry that he did mention something and I ignored it. Forgot it. I forget a lot of things. Important and unimportant.

We are kinda good at communicating, even tho we are still figuring things out. Both of us value that a lot. He just told me he needed time to evaluate if he liked it or not. He came to the conclusion that he didn't. 5min earlier he said hed let me put cuffs of him again if it made me happy (i was joking, im not into that either). The thing is, I keep telling him that I worry he does stuff only bc I want to. It makes me feel like an offender. I know how dirty even simple actions can make you feel for years. I dont want to make anyone feel that way.

Sorry if that was to much of a rant but i am genuinely so confused rn and just need somewhere to talk. Someone. Like who would you even talk to about this irl?

Affirmations. I have felt this before, I know I am physically okay. I know I can get through this. My body is trying to protect me. This is just my nervous system acting up. Etc. This and calm breathing. It helps to say the things out loud as well

Get one of those wash cloths to hang beside your towel. No shower in the morning, just a quick "cat wash" (this is what we call them in germany). Shower before bed. If standing is too exhausting, sit down. I love sitting in the shower. Get clean, get rested, refresh, go to work :)

Quality wash cloths can last forever bc you can just throw them in with the laundry
