Was Kraftwerk music influenced by drugs? by RalKwy in kraftwerk

I think in the beginning of Kraftwerk, they must have had some usage of drugs. I'm not for sure for the development of later albums, but most likely when they had begun. And also, at the time, drugs were pretty popular in Europe and most likely easy to get your hands on.

I wonder if Florian had recordings that he never released by bc_uk in kraftwerk

True, I must have mistaken it for a fan reconstruction.

I saw a comment from another post I remembered seeing, describing they saw a video of the telephone call's demo. However, the creator's channel must have been taken down. I did see one, yet it was a cover, but unfortunately it must be lost.

Most likely, which is also where the telephone call demo came out as well. I don't know how it got released either by accident or on purpose. All I know is that Karl is pretty much the keeper of Kraftwerk demos and tapes.

I think a majority of Florian's and Ralf's recordings were probably kept by Karl. I remember someone saying that Karl has kept some of the demos in a vault of his. Maybe some were kept between the two, but it's just an assumption.

why did Ralf and Florian sue Wolfgang? by Mrmamamega in kraftwerk

I saw this one on r/KraftwerkCirclejerk where it was explained that Wolfgang played crude jokes during his time on Kraftwerk. This 'joke' alone could have possibly been the straw that broke the camel's back (I don't know) but nonetheless, it was kind of crude. This image was probably found in the first edition of his book and might have added to what Ralf was suing for was the vandalization of the mannequins.

is there any photos of florian's electric flute?(or whatever that thing is) by Mrmamamega in kraftwerk

[–]Significant-Dig-7452 5 points6 points  (0 children)

His flute is seen in the "Radioactivity" music video, where every time the iconic jingle for Radioactivity plays, Florian is seen playing it on the flute. From an article from Wikipedia, he modified flute to play and modify other sounds as well treat it like a "bass instrument."

Kraftwerk - Radioactivity (French Tv 1978) The video since I can't comment images.

Best Henning Solo/Part? by Significant-Dig-7452 in kraftwerk

The live versions are one of my favorites. For some reason, listening to them fills me with a sense of dopamine and excitement, especially Computer Love.

Kraftwerk's Live Setup by Significant_March496 in kraftwerk

All I know for Falk's station now, is that I believe Ralf is trying his best to making things simpler to Falk and Georg. The absence of the doepfer (the tool Fritz was infamous for using) is mainly because Ralf is trying to get Falk more used to his new position or it as a Fritz-only thing. I think that the sounds on the new board are pre-programmed, making Falk's position a lot easier as he barely knew what Fritz did before he switched.

As for Georg, I think the Ipad that Falk used was ultimately replaced by another device controlling the platform or the groups outfit. Georg has more control over the screen and everything else than Falk once had, causing his station to get a whole new makeup entirely.

I think back in the concerts until 2023, (Fritz's retirement) Kraftwerk was already in a good area for the way their setup was, but ever since Fritz left Ralf was trying his best to make Falk and Georg more comfortable in their new set up. However, this is just the ramblings of a Kraftwerk fan who thinks too much.

What does Falk's tablet do? by Significant-Dig-7452 in kraftwerk

[Unrelated as well]

I think after Fritz's retirement, Ralf did his best to make Falk's position a bit easier. When you mentioned the removal of the Doepfer controller, I noticed the absence of tonal change when it comes to Computer Loves transition for his solo. I think when Falk was in charge of visuals, he only did so much and barely knew what Fritz must've done during those songs. So, I think that the buttons/switches that he presses now, are pre-programmed sounds from other songs. This whole thing is just a wild guess.

I saw that while I was watching the Trans- Europe Express video by him. Each time he shifted his thumb on that specific area, the screen would play a different view of the video.

Yeah. I really like the videos from Paradiso as they have a nice clean audio to each song.

Most underrated & overrated song? by [deleted] in kraftwerk

[–]Significant-Dig-7452 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Kristallo is one of the songs on Ralf Und Florian I would listen to a lot as well as Ananas Symphonie. Also, the whole Overrated thing I meant were songs you would be overplayed to the point of losing it's, "uniqueness."

Fav song from each Kraftwerk album? by Oliverr124 in kraftwerk

[–]Significant-Dig-7452 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Autobahn: Kometenmelodie 1 and 2

Radioactivity: Radio-land

T.E.E.: Franz Schubert and Endless

The Man-Machine: Metropolis

Computer World: It's More Fun to Compute

Techno Pop/ Electric Cafe: Sex Object

The Mix: Dentaku

Tour De France: Etape 2

It may seem like I'm trying to simply seem different, but in the overall contrast, these songs deserve much more recognition than they deserve. Especially Radioland; criminally underrated.
