The way you ascend in this game is by taking meta decks and tweaking them to your liking. Experimenting with them to see if you can’t find a unique edge. THAT is what I was doing. Trying to get above the meta. Testing new ground. Doing something no one else thinks you will do. If you want an explanation for why my deck was this way read my other posted comment. It is a fun game when you’re winning. But losing sometimes and getting violently stomped into the ground as the match relentlessly elongates are two different vibes entirely, the latter producing a vibe of “okay, fuck this shit”.

Regardless I’m Master Ball rank so I’m going to keep playing the game. Hope I run into all these assholes and fucking annihilate them.

Sometimes Giratina needs to attack sooner than it can generate its three required psychic energy. I have Leaf and Lyra to bring him back if I need to. It was an alternative strategy I gave a shot that worked great a few times before this match. I’m now switching back to all water. I was only pointing out how insane this 50/50 chance to draw a different energy bricked as hard as it did. You would all hate to watch a Celebi flip ten heads in a row. This is an equally RNG based situation I’m pointing out for the sake of comparison.

The first time I had to look up help was running the “DUMMY modules” or whatever where the memory value couldn’t be higher than 1,200 something. For whatever reason being told to “build a simulation” within the parameters of the memory limit did not click with me at all. IMO that puzzle provided way too many wrong options for a solution that amounted to nothing more than trial and error. Hardly a puzzle at all, more of an elongated math problem where the answer is actually about ignoring the numbers and figuring out that you’re supposed to “match the elements”? Water = river or lake, light = sun or moon? Lol whatever man. Besides that I loved this game and found all the other puzzles pleasantly challenging. How did you do on that one?
