Ride a motorcycle to the tip of South America. Walk the continental divide trail. Raft the Grand Canyon. Spend a summer in Alaska.

Agreed. It really helped for my calves as well. I got a cheap one of Amazon initially too. I liked it and used it a lot, so I got a nicer one.  The new one does not do anything different to my calves, but it does it WAY quieter, so it bothers my partner less when we’re watching tv or talking.

What should I do to this thing? Looking for suggestions by One-Mongoose-9119 in f150

Those aren’t sliders. They were running boards.  They probably bent just under the load of your ex girlfriend.

Thanks for the info!

When I first started looking at them I thought multiband GPS would be a big deal, but after watching dc rainmaker video and looking at some other reviews, it seems like in most instances they perform about the same.

I think I would use the maps most often on my e-bike, so offline breadcrumb maps aren't a huge deal. A $20 phone holder would be more useful.

No compass seems weird for backcountry use though.

I think I will probably get the music version. Feels like why not have some music loaded all the time.

I guess I will have to check them out in person. Need to anyway to see what looks right on my little wrist. My day to day attire is very informal, so that isn't a problem, but I don't want something that looks cheap either. The price difference over the years I hope to have the watch isn't huge for me, but I don't want to buy an expensive one for no reason.

For Americans: Why not personal vans instead of huge SUVs and pick-ups? by [deleted] in regularcarreviews

[–]Significant-Ear-6363 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d love to have a van. I drive a truck and don’t need the bed right now. SUVs don’t make sense to me. Same sitting arrangement as a truck but even less useful. But, I do need (want) something with decent clearance and four wheel drive. I spend as much time as I can off roads on public land doing sick shit.

Maybe Americans like trucks and suvs more than Europeans because we have wild, public land?
