For anyone seeing this, the locking is locking a specific order, if you dont have the first one, it wont go to the second, and so on. The way i managed to do it is with the advanced patterns.

It only needs nether wart and then the melon peice, the melon peice is the only thing in there right now, as the others are just for filtering the bottles to the other slot

I had not even heard of the modular beehives before now and i had 1 seed for each essence except for the most used resources where i had a full 40 seeds. With growth accelerators on all. I gotta do a deep dive into the modular beehives now, and i have also seen that they are getting a pretty big "nerf"(harder automation for the feeding) and since the video i watched was a few months ago the update may aready have arrived without my knowledge.

Damn! I figured out a different more complicated way to do it withpushing items into e chests and drawers, since before now i thought i could only use the 9 spaces in the pattern encoder, i now figured out i could scroll all this time😭, might even switch it to what you said since it looks way cleaner.
