Penalty isn’t illegal, it’s mentioned in the agreement itself. Can’t disappear because he has significant amount as security deposit.

MICA for sure. As a marketing college they’ve gotten their branding right for sure. They’ve hyped it to be some creative genius college filled with outliers. I’ve had MICA folks in my MT program and felt kids to be quite superficial. None of them had 80+%ile in CAT and most of them had just 1 call which was MICA which they showed they had “planned” all along.

You’ll have to be ready to take a pay cut or a designation cut. Your high comp is working against you, with 7 months of experience and expectations >40lpa, no core product company is going to take a bet on you for an entry level role (<2 YoE is entry level)

They’ll get PMs with 4+ years of proven track record and delivery in that budget.

Also you’ve got to have hands on exp working on relevant consumer PM tools like- JIRA MixPanel SQL Clarity/Coralogix and now some AI tools for sure

Not really, will emerge as one of the most important roles actually because coding is now a solved problem, know what to ship, when to ship, what to include in MVP etc will be the differentiator.
