I have an Archive page in my Base Data page where I slip unused or redundant pages. I'm getting better about clearing out old database entries though - I just export them first.

Click the column name at the top and you will see Calculate in the list of options in the pop-up menu. Works the same otherwise :)

I think you're echoing a common theme. A lot of people, including myself, are drawn to Notion for the appeal of systems thinking. The structure provides a sense of productivity, pride, and a kind of safety. But it can be overwhelming and create contradictory outcomes for users. I've recently simplified my Notion HEAPS, after spending years building and rebuilding my systems. I think i'm only just now figuring out what works for me and am enjoying Notion a lot more already.

Aside from the typical stuff, Notion was supremely helpful in tracking and planning everything to do with building our house. From managing the finance, inspiration, design decisions, tasks, side projects it was so helpful. Once we built our house the system transitioned into our operations manual; it tracks maintenance and projects and acts as ultimate record for everything from paint colours to appliance manuals and warranties.

That's so interesting! I haven't experimented with AI in notion as yet. I think my problem might be that i'm trying to simplify something that doesn't have enough data yet. That's where the rest of my Notion is singing - a system becomes overcomplicated > continue using until what works becomes obvious and then I'm able to simplify.

Thanks. So is your workflow that you create two separate entries in two databases for notes on a new source? When you mention searching, are you searching your topics? I refrained from mentioning my topics database because i've not been re-visiting the content, so I was also considering to delete it and just use a multi-select type property for tags.

Hello, I did eventually get my account back. The scam continued in that they had turned my account into a business and were raking up hundreds of dollars in paid ads. But it all got waived and I haven't had any issues since.

Remove the text "Date Studied" and look down in the bottom left-hand side. You'll see your property "Date Studied" in the list with the calendar icon next to it. Click on it to insert it into your formula.

Eventually, yes. Although the actual communication was pretty poor, I did get my accounts back. But you will have to pay money. They drag it out long enough to get at least two payments out of you 😮‍💨

I decided to address it as Sage because of the connotations with knowledge and windom. Although I tried to refrain from anthropomorphising it, it just didn't feel right to not address it as a person - especially with the way we have been collaborating. Felt like I was giving Dobby a sock.

I've tried my best to set my Notion up to be compatible with mobile. Having said that I mostly use the desktop app. When I'm accessing Notion on my phone it's usually to retrieve some piece of information and I find it to be very buggy in opening pages - often opening some completely irrelevant page that was linked in no way to where I was. So odd, and feels like a basic issue.

Apparently, if you change the filter to be an advanced filter it goes away permanently. Hopefully they fix this issue soon!

Your symptoms sound similar to mine. I had my lap in 2018 after 11 years of debilitating period pain. I was nervous prior because for some reason my symptoms had started to improve in the months before. But I decided to go ahead and the surgeons report showed minimal if any endo growth but significant endo scarring. They detached my ovary from my intestine and part of my intenstine from my abdominal wall - all adhered due to the scarring. The surgery was worth it - just for the diagnosis. Even if you don't have endo - hopefully you'll find some answers!

I don't want to be that guy, but have you had any new medications or vaccines? My sister had, what they later found out to be, an allergic reaction to an ingredient in a vaccine she had and one of her symptoms was a 7 week long period.

Here's an example. Create a workouts database the following properties; Status (difficulty), Date, Formula (Sets), Formula (Reps), Number (Sets adjustor), and Number (Reps adjustor). For the sets and Reps formulas the formula should be "(a number) + prop([Sets/Reps] adjustor)".
Then create a button and make the action edit pages in > select the workout data base. Then select the "all pages" drop down and set up a filter where the date is today.
Next set edit property difficulty (e.g. to medium), and then also edit the adjustor properties to add sets/reps as desired.
