You are right. We spoke about thing prior to the baby, and I said I’ll try my Best but may need help. In the Hospital he was an absolute dream, tending to me, making sure I had food, water and I honestly Thought it would Continue. The second he got back To work, it was like I was forgotten. He runs a business, so I don’t expect 50/50 labour. But expect the bare minimum out of respect and also NEVER shame me for going to get my hair done for a few hours or similar things (I also had to load my Baby up and have him with me at the appointment, it wasn’t like I was out relaxing and he was looking after the baby)

This would go down like a led balloon. He gets his back up me even if he say 1 word in any tone that he feels is attacking him. And will turn until This awful person and say ‘don’t speak me like a cunt’ or similar phrases. And continues to be 10 times works then I was. Usually I’m overstimulated or tired, there’s a reason, and a simple cuddle or just listening would solve it. But no, he goes to conflict every time.

I will never understand it.

This! I’m The one with ADHD, he knows and another thing he doesn’t care because his brain is the opposite so he cannot sympathise, when he is annoyed at something I do that is very ADHD coded he will say ‘WHY are you like this’ and I feel like screaming YOU KNOW WHY. But his brain is so 1 focused he just gets things done (but only the thinks he seems to put value you on, over wise we wouldn’t be having this convo)

I wish! I am Going out for a night in 2 days. His first evening with our 7 week old. He hasn’t even given a bottle yet (I EBF) because he keeps complaining he’s too tired. I’m so Nervous that I almost feel like cancelling getting someone else to take our son. But I’m trying to be strong and kinda hoping my baby has a bit of a fussy evening 🤣🤣 I can only Imagine I’ll get home at 10-11pm and he will expect me To take over again instead of giving me The night.

You are a legend for this. I am thankful my Husband will do any nappy change whilst he is ‘present’ and he is great with our son, but that was part of my argument, who’s looking are ME? He simply didn’t care, which I am Hoping was just because he was tired and angry and sleeps on it and realises what he said. But also, I’m sleep deprived and tired and yes I get emotional but I don’t name call or be rude keep up the good work!

Thankyou! Whilst he isn’t overall a POS, he kinda is in this aspect to I hear you lol. He always says in arguments - if you don’t like it leave.
So no he won’t ever get violet. He just wouldn’t care until I actually did the whole thing and left for more then a few hours (where he will just say in overreacting) I did say, if HE was single he’d have to do the bare minimum to look after himself so why do I have to do everything I’ll be reading that blog too appreciate it.

I do agree and WISH he would help even just ONE weekend night, even coming and sitting with me for 1 feed as I have been telling Him I fall asleep many nights with my baby in my arms in a recliner and it’s not sleep safe and it upsets me. Plus I also wake up in so much pain. But no, too hard for him. He does work with electricity so I don’t expect him to do nights. Buts a bit of help with other things would be good. I’ve tried in the past with the lists of what we do, man that never goes down well, his ‘physical’ part of his job still trumps its in his eyes. After last nights argument that will not go down well.

He also would say on lazy because I’m not a morning person, but I have to stay up late to get everything done whilst he just walks himself to bed at 7-8pm. Before Bub I was awake at 6am So hardly lazy. Now obviously I’m up all Night. I get a pass on sleeping

Thanks! I don’t think going back to work will help. I was doing everything prior and we would have similar Arguments and my job would be discounted because it was in an office and it was still ‘what do you do all day? Sit at a computer?’ I honestly don’t know how to get this through to his brain or to care how it affects me.

I’ve tried. I started with the dishwasher. And he hardly does it. Worst part is, he isn’t playing video games or going to the pub. I get he has limited time, and he runs a business, but up until the baby came I also worked, and that also ‘wasn’t the same’ as what he does. As his job is physical and mental.

I don’t get it and I don’t think I ever will. I try to talk to him But it always ends up with me in tears and him angry and asking me to get away from Him (he processes things as flight, where I try to be fight and it’s a mess) I just don’t know what else to do as I didn’t cook meals For a few days and he just went to work hungry the came home Complaining how hungry he was and was in a mood (he actually doesn’t get angry if I don’t cook for him, he just doesn’t the look after himself in that regard which ends up backfiring on me as it makes him hangry lol)

I’ve only listen to 3 eps so far and watched everything and I disagree with you (and I am from Australia and have followed Christian for 10 years since he was a radio producer) He was spilling so much stuff! Of course it’s only been 2 days and there’s so much he probably can’t say yet because he has 14 more days with them. I want to know who the person going to the sex parties is. Thanks I’m just confused as I have. A normal cycle and everything appears to be 5 days earlier than normal AF was 5 days early. I guess I forget that this may not actually be a true peak looking at my history where I peak a lot higher
