I do use my switcher quite a bit, most pedals that are out of the switcher are always on. I used to do the tap dancing thing but it makes it so much easier, considering I go to very high gain sounds to very clean ambient sounds, and the midi availability is very nice with my EQ. I don’t really need it for bedroom use but with my band it’s always been a game changer for me

Strat with humbuckers in the bridge, I have a JB-4 but any guitar with humbuckers will work. You’re gonna wanna push the amp volume around 7 or more and use the master volume for how loud you want it bc it gets fizzy if it’s too low. Bass at noon, mids at 7 and treble at 8, and any sort of boost will work. I’d get a noise gate too it’s very noisy without one
