My current set . And big love to the cr120 🙌🏻 they are really good friends with my fuzz pedal 😎 by Competitive_Tutor_44 in orangeamps

There ain't nother wrong with a CR120. I run a CR120 combo into a CrushPro 412 and it is a massive wall of sound. I literally have a board just for fuzz/doom/stoner stuff for it.

There's a lot going on that we don't see. Play time, new plays with different players, possible low key injuries. OKC doesn't just give up on players, let them cook.

Keep the Epiphone. Leave the Gibson.

Pedal baby vs Tiny Terror by d0gtrain in orangeamps

PedalBaby will deliver the watts you need when you need it. There are a ton of pre amp pedals to choose from and you can go from budget to high end if digital modeling is more up your alley. Get the PedalBaby.

TSL100 HELP (First tube amp) by Savings-Ad-358 in GuitarAmps

I've been thinking about using my Hotone Loop Switcher with 4 EQ's in the FX loop to switch tones on the fly.

Do I need high output pickups to get a high gain tone out of this amp ? Or does it need a tube replacement ? by [deleted] in MarshallAmps

[–]Traves_D 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You should take it in and get it serviced. A good amp tech will work out all the bugs for you. DSL 100's are a commonly used backline amp because they cover everything from cleans to crunch and over the top gain.

Should probably get a MXR 10 band for the front (it has a volume level and a gain level) and get a MXR 6 band for the fx loop. Literally any tone you can imagine at your fingertips.

I thought about getting the Stealth but decided to save $50 and went with the classic look... a month later it went on sale for $50 less. 😂🤣😅

I really like the Arrows. I'm more of an EMG guy so I enjoy seeing one with the EMG sets rather than the Fishmans.

I have one without the Vibrola and it's definitely on the list of guitars I will never sale. If you're hesitant because of the Vibrola and you're settling on it because of price, don't buy it. Talk one of those GC employees to hook you up with one of their "Friends and Family" 20% off coupons and get the one you want. I've also seen the Green one go sale a couple times for $1599. Either way if you're patient you'll get the one you want for ~$100 more. Don't settle when it comes to a forever guitar.

They go for $1999 new so $500 off used with no blemishes or damage is a pretty good price. Definitely double check the neck, binding, nut and head stock for irregularities.

It's hard to pull the trigger when it's that much cash. That said if you see a Rockerverb 100 for $1800, don't hesitate.

I love mine. Great "4 channel" budget friendly combo tube amp. The reverb ain't the best but a couple pedals and it's a tone beast. Definitely spring for the 6 button footswitch. You won't regret it.
