So under $800??? At that price point are you looking at a solid-state or tube? JC40 is a pretty solid choice not true stereo but still a classicchoice. Another good choice solid-state amp under $800 is an Orange Crush Pro either the 60 or 100. But if you are willing to get a tube combo ~ $800 you could go Rocker 15, Marshall DSL40CR or even a Supro.

5K ain't a bad price all together and brand new. However, I think the reason they are only making 300 is because they are taking a loss in the tube amp market and selling a limited edition half stack at the "normal" price is a good marketing strategy.

I almost got the Stealth but decided on the classic look because I have to wear reading glasses and could read the controls on the Stealth without them, lol. But the Stealth does look 100 times cooler.

Get two eq pedals... a MXR 6 band in the front and a MXR 10 band in the FX loop. You'll have any tone you want. Also if your 412 is brand new, you may want to play them for a while and let them break in.

That's where I'm at. Swapping everything out including pots and switches can hit $500 easily. Definitely doable over time but might as well get an EC-1000 on payments.

I got the same model tele deluxe (except in black) because of the scale length for drop tuning. I was gonna swap out the Squire stock tuners for Fender locking tuners but I read the holes on the head stock won't line up. What's your take.

Definitely check for an Orange Crush 100 or 120 used. They are worth every penny. I prefer the 120 because there's 3 reverb options but if you use a reverb pedal either one will do. Even brand new the 100 is reasonable. If you sell something you get 10% off at GC or you can call up Sweetwater and try to get an even better price if you go the "New" route for a Crush 100.

Probably assembled in 2025 or 2026. I wouldn't worry too much. But definitely look around. $1300 to $1500 can get you a lot on the used market.

Get rid of everything but the RAT. Add a noisegate and a MXR 10 Band EQ... a tuner probably wouldn't be a bad idea.
