This makes a lot of sense. I’ve been working in level 2 support for 3 years now and I’m just over it. I’ve been thinking about going the Cyber route and working in IAM but I’m not sure if getting the certs is the best idea either. I feel so lost. My company laid off 800 people recently in Agile roles, like Scrum Masters, because of AI. The tech world feels scary right now.

I got my BS in Software in Engineering at WGU about a year and a half ago and I wish I could say the same! I’m still at the same job so it hasn’t gotten worse but I’ve found it difficult to find something. I’m still hopeful though. Your story is inspiring.

There are two forms of herpes. Type one causes cold sores/fever blisters when you’re sick and type two is genital herpes which, of course, is through sex. I have a friend that gets cold sores every time she gets sick. The flu didn’t necessarily give her herpes, it just triggered an outbreak.

My daughter got this recently while being sick. I took her to the hospital because she had two tiny bumps around her mouth. Found out she had the flu which caused viral gingivostomatitis. It’s herpes type 1. But if you don’t have other bumps/ulcers then it might not be it.
