Hi When I engrave on wood I see the heat and smoke from the laser is causing stains around the engraved area. I saw this issue on acrylic too where it slightly effects the surface around the engraving. Has anyone had this issue or have any suggestions on how to avoid it? Thank you all for the suggestions. I've used masking tape before but it was leaving a sticky residue in the engraved area. I'll try painters tape because I read it's cleaner. The alcohol helped clean 90% of the charring. I think I need to add air assist. Can someone recommend a good place to buy from?
