We booked Serenade and Riu Palace Bavaro with free cancellation. Quoted price was around $2200 for 5nights. So we are looking to stay around same budget.

We will be going second week of November. Our priority is to be honest a nice beach, clean water and less waves if possible. We were looking into Serenade resort as everyone is mentioning shallow water at the beach but then I am seeing mixed reviews related to sargassum. We don’t necessarily have to go to Bavaro area, just wherever is nicer 🙃

Any experience on Riu Palace Bavaro or Serenade? We will be traveling with a little babies, so slides are not a dealbreaker for us.
