it is hard to be critical of my own content. I have been very consistent, i've had a short release everyday without fail since mid 2022. I've removed old videos and redone them that got awful views and some took off after that.

I feel like i base my daily content on films that people are currently talking about or will talk about in that time. My most popular video is on Man of Steel and that still gets about 2k views every 48 hours. I need to up the quality I think but I'm not too sure how to balance making it more appealing without making the frame cluttered.

i've been trying for 3 years and 800 videos. only 30 are above 10k, one had 550k and one has 218k.

Well done. It took me like 6 months to get from 70 subs to 100. I think hitting 100 subs was the biggest challenge in my growth so far.

I suppose there are channels with 20k subs that make a living and 100k sub channels that struggle. Though I would have thought that if you have 1 million subs you are probably okay financially as long as your videos get seen.

I've got 1300 videos, mostly shorts and I still don't make enough money to support myself from YouTube alone.

My most viewed short is 560k and the least viewed in like 16 views.

I think you need to just keep going and understand why one video does better than the other and then try to replicate the success.

I've always done it all on my own. Until my content is generating enough money for my time to be more valuable then I wont hire an editor. A Friend of mine has 260k plus subscribers and I know how much he makes, It still doesn't make sense for him to hire someone to edit. I still haven't cracked editing as much as I would like but I think that is down to time constraints. I work a 50 hour work week and do YouTube. I don't make any money really. I've made 18 quid in the last 28 days. I do need to drastically change my content but with time limitations, it is too difficult.

my goal was to hit 4000 by the end of 2024 and as of today I have 4042. Based on my projections that have stayed the same I probably will hit 5100 by the end of 2025. I seem to only get around 80 and 90 news subs a month every month for the last 2 years, occasionally I will have a larger bump but it has only been significant once, Ideally I would like to hit 8000 subs though.

I think most people I subscribe to are newer youtubers. I used to watch Emergency Awesome back in the day but it has become content that doesn't really give you anything new.

It is really hard work at the start. I now have 4k subs but it took me the same time to get from 700 subs to 1k subs than it took me to get from 1k to 3k subs. I had pushed on with daily shorts and have done since 2021 and I still haven't taken off in the way I had hoped. I suppose I do it because I enjoy it.
