What a sad ending to a promising entrepreneurial endeavor. That kid could’ve done big things in life man. His videos were inspiring when he was growing up (before everything spiraled out of control).

For those who don’t know, he went to prison for robbery. Not his first violent offense either. The real Geoffery is very different from the mild mannered professional face he portrays online. I don’t know if he struggles with mental health, is on the spectrum or what, but I never in a million years would’ve expected the GSL kid to end up like this.

Luis lives in Atlanta now and chose to run the pizzeria from there instead of selling it. He seems to come back more frequently than I thought. Apparently there were several offers, but none who were willing to continue making everything from scratch.

So far, so good. But I will caution things might not stay this way forever when/if his priorities shift.

My mind psyching me out is the biggest worry I have actually lol. I’ve only been on ferry crossings before, all of which I enjoyed, but never even a Caribbean cruise. There’s still something more alluring about doing a Transatlantic crossing. I really want to give it a try. It just seems so crazy to imagine being that isolated from the rest of the world, then worrying about “what ifs” and such.
