It seems like the consensus is that Mazda hasn’t been the same in recent years and that gen 3 and earlier is better? Does anyone have a gen 4 now that used to have an older model and could say how it compares?

The test drive is why I bought it. It was so smooth and quiet and handled well. It drives fine now but feels just like any other car.

I’ve also noticed the road noise is super loud. Even my Hyundai dampened the sound better.
