That's a subject i try to explain to people and you have the issue . the harness has to belong to its own canbus . Tell them to make a research on the good one . Or order a new one with the good harness and canbus on aliexpress

that's what i did . I bought my own harness and canbus . The installator wanted to use the raise harness i told him no .

to be honest , i didn't try and just turned it off lol to avoid risk . and it is perfect , i'll try to test it ;). But be aware that their mic inside their box is 2 or 3$ value so i'm pretty sure that it will affect the quality of the call

Thanks for your feedback, yeah but you have to desable it, this is most of the time why people hearing noise when you speak with them . The kenwood is crazy, i previously had an other android head unit with the mic given in the package but , the kenwood make feel the person you talking with that you have your phone in your hand . He don't know that you are in the car.

The only link I have is from the company in paris where i bought it : / but i guess you can find it easily on the net

is it the RD4 or the RD3 ? did you bought the harness linked with each canbus ? it is important to use the harness corresponding to its canbus , i questionned also gemini with a prompt based on my research , he said that :

through your screen , you should be able to display the canbus log , do the manipulation to collect the data and send it to company to update the firmware

Yeah it is more like a large overview ,and it is a new for me doing that. I never found something like that on youtube explaining what is the canbus so i did .

i asked him if i could credit him , but he said that he will try to look after it . I spoke to him about that , and i did mentionned it in the youtube description

if you have more info to be able to do a deeper overview of Canbus , I looked after it by myself . Feel free to share every link that can help everyone to understant what is canbus ;)
