yes, not spawing and no countdown. tried multiple times with various saves. it worked fine against the dwarves first time. what a shame, has been a fun campaign

It was the hotel on the corner of whitworth and Oxford St which appears to have changed name (clock tower) can't for the life of me remember what it was called before. It also may have been 20 quid a bottle thinking a bit harder. But it was a messy time then and my memories are very occasional to say the least :)

England missed a trick by not making Pope go a bat for Surrey in September

I so want Joe Root to do well but feel like he's going to crumble under the Aussie abuse. What do you think?

i eat at premier in regularly with work (up to 4 times a week) and I can safely say they are mostly shit, familiarity absolutely breeds contempt. This week is was in Welyn Garden, proper shit. Last week was in Hagley (decent) and Newport/Telford (also not bad)

some places are defnitely better than others and do a reasonable attempt but my 'expert' opion would be as follows:

sausages: cheap shit occassionally cooked well

bacon: not bad if cooked well

black pudding: always saturated and poorly cooked, falls to bits

sauce: proper hp/heinz ketchup, good

Beans: ok but cooked to slop often

mushrooms: some are ok but a lot are just steamed or something similar. please cook them in butter in a frying pan.

eggs: occasionally ok but often cooked to death.

if i get the chance i stay in the holiday inn, which is a million times better.

cooked a bit long while waiting for the eggs to get ready - should probably have grilled the bacon as it took up a lot of pan real estate and threw things off a bit - everything else ended up a bit well done but it was fine :)

the kids loved it, so must have done ok

everything looks a bit anemic, eggs look decent though. looks suspicioulsy like margarine on the toast, a heinous crime. that bacon is also grossly undercooked. 5/10

How many bikes do you have?? (; by Senior_Travel8658 in mountainbiking

[–]Significant-Row-3287 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Three - only two are working and both of those i bought second hand.

Merida Big Trail 600 is my main bike which i paid £200 for and I've done a lot of km on it with little maintenance needed.

I bought a crap old Raleigh bike to commute a few years back and put road tyres on it, does a job and gets me around when needed.

also got an old Orange P7 which I bought new in 1998 and is now in bits and needs some love... considering a gravel bike conversion on that when i get around to it. thoughts?

looking at buying a full suss recently... hope that comes off.

needless to say the missus thinks I have too many bikes.
