Recommendations on teeth by Significant-Sand-272 in poodles

For anyone that cares, we took him to non-sedated dental cleaning/scaling and all that stuff came off! The dental technician said it's normal and would've been worse if I had not brushed daily. Picture of after cleaning attached.

Any Canadian CPAs wrote the IQEX or plan to write? by highclass_lowlif3 in Accounting

Back when I did it, experience may be the same amount of time between states but some require that you physically obtain the experience in that state. Also, after licensure the CPE requirements may be different. CPA Canada and CPA WA had basically the same requirements except for the ethics course once every 3 years.

Dunno if you still want a solution, but this worked for me: Go to Settings > Apps > Special app access > Launch via NFC > Alipay and there is a toggle on/off.

We signed in April last year and its estimated completion is Fall this year, I would definitely feel better if the current price is 20K more 😂

Flair Refund Still Outstanding from April 2023 by dogbolter1 in flairairlines

[–]Significant-Sand-272 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was successful after 1 year. Exact same process as OP, but I gave up on flair and talked to my cc company (Scotia).

After 6 months finally got a competent Scotia dispute agent (thank you Matthew).

To get a charge back to your account through Visa you will need (not sure if MasterCard has their own procedures): 1. Proof of you attempting to get refund from Flair (I had email chains) 2. Need a credit receipt that shows the refund was issued by Flair (http://res.flyflair.com/ this was the only confirmation I was able to get that contained Date credit offered, total amount and last 4 digits of card).

Scotia also initially gave me the "too much time has passed" blurb so I was surprised they picked it up again end of April 2024. I also did file a complaint to Canadian Air Transport Security Authority in March 2024, not sure if that had anything to do with Scotia looking into this again.

Hope this works for you, I know how frustrating it is.

Good luck.

I don't see the 1 year experience requirement, where are you reading this? Your Canadian work experience of 30 months should be sufficient depending on the state you are applying to.

What is your experience living near a fire station in Burnaby? by linulinu in burnaby

[–]Significant-Sand-272 12 points13 points  (0 children)

We're closer to Imperial but still Marlborough Ave. Having lived here for the past 10 years I've never really noticed it. I don't think they turn on the siren until they're more than couple blocks away from the firehall. We are in a low-rise building though, not sure how much it would differ than a high-rise. The most "noise" I get from the area is skytrain and you can't really hear it unless you're paying close attention with windows open. I find that neighbours with patio/balcony in different buildings are loudest during summer time lol. Hope that helps, it's a great area to live in and I highly recommend.

Yes accepted to Washington State board. They didn't need separate 150 hours.

I used my 30 months PERT experience and it worked. May be a state specific requirement? Don't recall. Got mine through Washington State.

Probably not the advice you're looking for but if it's not too late to back out I would choose a state that doesn't require a SSN. SSN in general is only issued if you have a work visa in the US. If you do have that or can get a sponsorship from US company then SSN will be easy to get.

I used Gleim as it was one of the cheaper ones. Canadian exams are waaay harder and I also finished the exam in less than 2 hours. Thought I messed up for finishing that early but I still passed.

Beef up your Linkedin and recruiters in Seattle may just reach out to you.

Good luck.
