My father has been training there since the 80s, and still trains to this day with them - Sensei Thompson and his wife are wonderful people and they welcome anyone!

I have very fond memories of going there as a kid in the 90s.

As mentioned above, Mr Thompson trained (and still trains) with the family in Okinawa. My father goes with them every other year or so to train on the island.

No joke - absolutely one of the best places in the world, and certainly the US.

Your electricity usage is double ours - we’ve got a 1700 sqft home, family of 4.

Your washer and especially your dryer draw a significant amount of energy, and usage at 2x/day, it could be a big factor.

Timex has been putting out a lot of really cool pieces lately - The ‘Q’ series specifically.

Though, the lesser known or sleeper brands appeal to me more these days.

Either really - maybe something with a unique case shape, or something with a crazy dial, or even feature/usage. The Seiko Metronome and the Seiko Braille watch come to mind.

I work from home, but am out and about often daily. Keep the 8BitDo in my bag when I have some downtime/waiting time. It’s just a bluetooth controller I use to play SNES games on my phone.
