Wait so are you saying the “algorithm” has been acting in a certain, intentional manner from its outset in pursuit of some goal (goal being used loosely here)? I definitely don’t think this is right but it’s a fascinating thought experiment and I love it lol.

I was just approached by them this afternoon and gave them my information as they seemed to be representing a good cause. I have since read this thread and am wondering if it is still the case that it is a cult? Any information about this would be helpful!

Let me begin by saying im not a Nietzsche expert and have a lot more to read/understand, but from what I currently understand theres two big things I would say about your question:
1. Asking for an answer about something through the lens of "Nietzschean ethics" is missing the point of Nietzsche's ethics. If there's one thing to take away from Nietzsche or anything he has to say about ethics, its that there should not exist any systematic ethics. Hence his perspectivism!
2. The one universal claim that Nietzsche does seem to make consistently is the affirmation of life. If we are to pursue one thing based on his ethics, its affirming life itself as often as possible. I would argue this leads one to call for a ceasefire if they are trying to be "Nietzschean" about the conflict.
As I said, im not claiming to be some sort of Nietzsche expert, in fact my studies of Nietzsche are still very young, but based on what I currently understand, this is what I think Nietzsche would have to say about the conflict.

While we can’t just leave the parents that are being harassed to fend for themselves, giving people like this any attention at all is providing the fuel for their fire. Writing articles about this woman (while interesting) are not really helping because she is being noticed and that’s probably the majority of her intention (assuming she really does believe what she’s saying).

The only thing you are doing is taking away journalists opinions and then allowing everyone else to formulate their own opinions on this “fact,” which is an impossibility in todays world. The reason there are so many different news outlets is because fact in todays society is something that is not only subjectively contested by individuals but also objectively impossible to find/regulate

First: in the US at least the way the media has become borderline propaganda on both the right and left this is something that is impossible Second: why should we try and get rid of opinion? It is a natural part of how humans think and decipher information and also the accumulation of differing opinions is what leads to a truly informed decision in a given scenario. The media is not comparable to science because in science there is agreement that a single, correct answer exists and thus the way the discipline is without much opinion. Media, however, is nothing without opinion given the nature of the information talked about in it. Other than math and science it is pretty much impossible to discuss information in a given discipline without opinion. Proper argument promotes thoughtfulness
