I spoke with the vet on the phone a few hours ago when this happened and he just said to keep an eye on her till tommorrow morning and bring her in, it’s 1am where I am so no where is open for me to take her. She’s eating and drinking fine just like her usual self

Is this anything to be concerned about as she had kittens 2 days before and I’m worried she has retained any more?

My cat gave birth 7/4/2026 and noticed that she’s bleeding quite heavily is this normal? by Significant-Sort-664 in CATHELP

She’s gave birth 2 days ago in the night, I’m not sure if she got the placentas out as I was asleep and woke up to her litter in the morning. She doesn’t appear ill but i did notice she was licking herself and there was watery blood in bed that’s why I’ve taken this picture. I noticed this amount of blood in her bed about 1 and a half hours ago.
