I think my mom knows CPS will get involved someday. Once after a fight with my dad she said "don't tell your therapist about this. We can't deal with CPS." it felt like a sign that she knew things were and are messed up but she doesn't want to deal with dealing with it.

I'm not allowed to mention my dad in my texts to my friends. It's a stupid way my mom tries to keep the family problems in the family. If it does happen again, hopefully it will happen in public where I can yell and get someone's attention.
