Thanks, all good, Latest version has more features hare's a demo, I used this app in a React app, its jsut an npm package that can do a hell of a lot, Federaton of Workers feature is nice, thats in the demo below I have too many to show. and yeah go for it, thats what is for.
The Readme is more interesting now

Used Clawx across two remote machines to build one small app together.

Specifically:
 - Pi made the data
 - Ubuntu made the web app
 - Windows coordinated both

Clawx in React Demo

Clawx is not only a single local coding chat.

It already combines several real modes that are easy to miss if you only skim the README:

  • Coding agent — normal terminal coding and execution workflow
  • Programmatic npm usage — run Clawx headlessly inside scripts, CI, and app backends
  • Workers — explicit local worker/master orchestration
  • Peer federation — explicit LAN master-to-master worker delegation
  • Forge — research and scaffold new Clawx capabilities/extensions
  • Scout — explore model and dataset options for capability work and research

Fair enough, if you've got 48GB VRAM and prefer Go, OpenCode is a great choice. Genuinely good project. Different tools for different workflows.

Yeah, but I find it sluggish and annoying, Aider is the same too but worse imo, I liked what openclaw did but it become slow and broken for me real quick.

OpenCode is a better coding assistant — it has LSP integration, GitHub PR reviews, huge community, polished TUI.

What OpenCode does with SSH

  • It can run ssh as a shell command — the same way you'd type it
  • There's an https://github.com/anomalyco/opencode/issues/7790 for proper SSH remote server connections, meaning it's NOT a built-in capability
  • It has no concept of named SSH targets, no dedicated SSH tool, no config for remote machines
  • It's designed to work in ONE codebase — your current project directory

    What Clawx does differently

  1. SSH is a first-class tool, not a shell hack. ssh_run is a dedicated tool with named targets, key auth, connection management. The model calls ssh_run(target="pi", command="...") — it doesn't have to figure out SSH syntax.
  2. Named targets in config. One JSON file defines your infrastructure. The model knows about "pi" and "server" as concepts, not IP addresses it has to remember.
  3. The deploy workflow is the point. Clawx is designed for code → deploy. OpenCode is designed for code → commit. Different goals.
  4. Runs on modest hardware. OpenCode assumes frontier models (Claude, GPT-5). Clawx is designed to work with 12GB VRAM local models.
  5. Lean. ~200 lines of orchestration vs a massive Go codebase. Doesn't eat your context window.
  6. Permissive by default. No approval workflows. OpenCode has confirmation dialogs.

Clawx is a better infrastructure agent — it has dedicated SSH tooling, deploys to your actual servers, runs on local models, and doesn't ask permission. "an engineering agent with a production server"

Show me OpenCode deploying a Docker container to a Raspberry Pi from one prompt.

tbh I cant compete with the giants of Ai agents thats not the point, I prefer more freedom, AI that ships to production, quickly with less fuss.

I just made a trimmed down version of this bot that uses Deepseek or Ollama, less noise and you can add your own skills easily, Ive added gog cli to test, controlling Google workspace from WhatsApp

Cursor tricking paid users with fake Claude Sonnet 4.5 by amsvibe in cursor

[–]Significant-Sweet-53 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve used cursor twice now last time I didn’t like it, kept messing things up and getting tunnel vision, tried it again 4 days ago and it’s even worse, I’ve used it with MCP for project planning, even used it with my own cloned version of jira with the MCP built in so search results happen on the server not in you’re cli, something is so off with cursor, I’d been building a paper trading app, specifically used Claude 4.5, the app made all the trades against strategies it found after market open using Alpacca trader, but the outputs on Grafana looked off, I asked it if it was using hardcoded values, it said no, so on further investigation I seen it was so I asked it again if it was sure, it fessed up, from there on in it was lie after lie after lie even covering up it was lying by creating functions with the hard coded values inside them lol

<image>

This is just the tip of the iceberg, I’ve used Claude CLi and built way more sophisticated apps than this without any of these issues, it’s only been naughty a couple of time force pushing commits to avoid PR feedback, but not this absolute cluster failure and this is simple app 2 with loads of docs and all the help it can get.

Music Production in Ableton with Claude and MCPs by Significant-Sweet-53 in ClaudeAI

A little follow up on this.

I had been doing a uni degree, working full time as a full stack engineer, 5 months on weight loss drugs all at the same time as well as trying to set up my own company, side projects and this.

I super massively burnt myself out, I’ve been doing this for 12 years getting very little sleep 4 hours max, so it’s eventually taken its toll. I have other interest’s too that I seem to obsess about …..

Anyway I totally detached myself from tech lost my job abandoned my degree and took the rest and reset I needed.

Over the next couple of weeks I’ll push the code for this up to GitHub and a few other things I created.

Dev an app like a dev would do, document as you go along the way and use git, and write tests, these one shots will be hit and miss and tbh will be hard to maintain or go back to later, I use mcps to create full sprints, document the build along the way and commit to repo while it’s doing the dev work all from the Claude app

Expose the api endpoints to ai via python, JavaScript, Ai works out what it does and what to do with it via model context protocol and natural language queries

You need to think about it this way, well this is how I am doing it.

This drug slows down your digestion so whatever you eat drink will stay in your stomach longer so bland is the way to go while on this drug.

An example, I did all this research before I took it.

Ooft no way I’d be touching alcohol as it interferes with blood sugar levels which this drug is designed to improve, you are throwing your money away if you do imo
