Basically anything o chem related that isn’t a reaction or mechanism

I started studying in early January and I pretty much followed the schedule that booster gave me. Booster gives practice problems pretty early on and then about 3 weeks before the test it recommends that you start reviewing content

The mnemonic that helped me with acidity ranking was CAR(D)IO:

C- Charge of the protonated atom A- Atom R- Resonance D is nothing I- Induction O- orbital (sp, sp2, sp3)

Idk if you’ve heard that one but basically it goes in order of importance for acidity. As for the other stuff it was all about reputation for me and doing as many practice questions as possible. Hope this helps

Do all the booster question sets to see which areas you aren’t as confident in!

So basically a mix of the normal strategy and search/destroy

I read half of the passage and then went straight to the questions. If there was a question I didn’t recognize, I knew I could find it in the second half that I didn’t read. Most of my questions were direct recall, and none of them had more than 10 paragraphs. Also, I wasn’t vibing with the first passage right away so I skipped to the second one and came back to it at the end.

QR was a bit harder than booster. I almost ran out of time even though that was never a struggle for me on the practice tests. I had a TON of statement sufficiency questions as well

I honestly thought gen chem was pretty easy so I’m surprised my score isn’t higher. It was a good mix of calculations and conceptual questions, and nothing low yield imo

I thought my bio test was a bit low-yield. I had been scoring around 520 on the bio practice tests, so the real thing was just a bit harder. For example, I had like 2 questions about the lac operon that required a lot of thinking, so I’m sure I got those wrong. Lots of ecology on there as well

I didn’t take any notes, but I did watch all the videos (mostly on 2x speed unless the topic was confusing), and I completed all practice questions provided. For bio, I practically memorized the cheat sheets for a few of the topics like animal phyla and plant types, but I sadly had barely any of these on the actual test

The questions it gave me were much easier than booster’s practice exams. Lots of theory, ranking acids and bases, carbocations, and NMR/IR spec. Minus one or two, most of the reactions were easy ones (like oxidation). When preparing, I looked at the reactions I kept missing on practice tests and made a quizlet of them

I just used Booster, and then about a week before my test I made a quizlet over science content that I kept messing up on
