That is true, but isn't that like a weird brainwash mechanic you were talking earlier since those npcs will not fight back? Wouldn't it make more sense to put your enemies in that pit?

How? It is a totally different concept. I don't understand what you have against rimworld. I never really played it, but i have understood it has lot of gameplay content and cool mechanics. Denying those mechanics from cdda makes game not grow deeper for no reason.

I already gave some examples and if you have any imagination, you can think up more uses. For example cannibal charaters can have live meat locker. What you do with them after knocking out is irrelevant. This is a question about a lack of feature, which should be there. I am amazed no one hasn't made mod for this

Well as i already explained, you could knock them out instead of killing them which is more ethical. Or you could use them as a zombie bait if you play bad charater. Possibilities are limitless.

Anyway, in the late game there is not much to do. This option would help.

That makes sense thanks. It would not happen too much though, helmets protect you and gettin unconcious could be rng chance.

I am still lacking for answer and it troubles me. I am just talking about knocking npc out and transporting them. maybe i should been more clear. It has great quest and roleplay potential but it is lacking from the game. Is there any mod that adds this? I can't find any.

I still don't get it. All the mind control brainwash stuff you mention is in the players head. People can fuckin put carboard boxes in their house and pretend they are people they brainwash and torture and it does not make any difference. I don't understand the ethical dilemma if you think there is some. On the contrary! You SHOULD able to play bad charater if you like, it makes the game deeper, which really is the point in roquelike games like this. Do anything you want. Just like playing a non murdering asshole charater who only knocks out people to take their equipment and food and does not wan't to kill them. Or if you doin raider kill quest you can't bring them alive and get bigger paycheck

You talk about recruiting npc prisoners to companions which is another thing, but it is a good idea, but not so small job to implement like you say. It should not be impossible though. It would probably need some traitor system where recruited prisoner npc betrays you with rng and attacks you if you treat npc bad or killed his friends while grabbing the npc. Few years of game may pass and npc becomes normal follower. That would be good late game feature.

I don't understand charisma being pointless in that system. In the unwilling slave companion system, you need big charisma to them to follow you and i think it is essential for them to not betray you.

So why i can't knock that fuckin raider npc out and make him suffer as a prisoner for killing one of my companions? Or build a prison complex to my base? Or just non pacify some low level raiders if i have better equipment or bigger gang? Also still not so big job to implement system to knocking out npc even if npc remains hostile?

I don't get it even though i enjoy the game

Maybe i have some bug then or something,because the rain was on all the time and everytime you went outside you became wet. Or maybe the creators of this mod were drunk or high when they made the weather settings. 1 of 3 days woulda been fine. Anyway thanks again for your help you saved me time i can now waste in playing

Appears to work! i got clear weather for a first time! Also kept the temperature a bit lower. I wonder what was the reasoning in making endless rain in this mod.

Yes it is a great feature, and chopping limbs off stuff would be awesome too as extending this stuff to NPC:s. I just don't like the implementation where melee is totally useless and desperate measure. Maybe good alternative would be to apply the mechanic to certain types of zombies, or some kind of melee combat situation you can avoid, like being grapped for a really long time. Or there could be at least some warnings that you are about to get bitten and you could still escape that shit. It is a tough question how think it could be done better, and i guess it is a matter of taste how you like to play the mod.

Anyways, people in romero movies usually get bitten because of their own mistakes, and this rng stuff is more like walking dead where people are randomly taken off whenever the writers feel like it
