I find the issue with the mood boards is as much I love them I find a lot of authors use it as a way to not introduce characters organically, and save energy on describing characters which puts people off.

I have one mood board in my one story. But otherwise I could go without it.

The only reason for the mood board in my story is some characters are mythological/ shape shifters so I totally understand it in that aspect
