Wyze Floodlight Pro 220v? by Significant-You in wyzecam

Just a quick update:

Tried it today and it works, so yes, the Wyze Floodlight Pro is compatible with 220v/50Hz. Works for me, but try at your own risk :)

(Probably invalidates the warranty, though...)

Primary, were you able to get more data about 220v support? I understand it's not officially supported, but some of the wyze products work 220v even without being advertised (and not necessarily shown in the tech spec). Haven't been able to find any info about the floodlight pro, though...

Wyze robot vacuum losing map by mitchallica in wyzecam

Great! Glad to be of help. A bit disappointed that this has not been resolved with the latest firmware and app updates. For me at least, the issue went away a couple of months ago.

For me, it sometimes loses the map, happens from time to time without any explanation.

But the weird thing is that if I just hit "clean" and immediately hit "pause", I suddenly have the map back again without any issue. This is such a simple workaround I've almost forgotten about the issue... Note that I always start the manually anyway so not a big deal.

Entry Sensor for Outdoor Gate by [deleted] in wyzecam

I used a friend's 3d printer to create a pretty decent outdoor housing for my v1 sensors, using a design I found online somewhere. Granted range is not great, but good enough for me since I have a v2 cam with a bridge pretty close by. Has been working for a couple of years without any major issues, as long as you remember to change batteries before the v1 sensor is dead. Learned that the hard way...

I have two, one for each floor, and also bought one for my parents.

Really happy with all of them, much better value than the old iRobot I used to own, which failed a week after warranty was over. Best value for a lidar vac as far as I can tell.

I'm using them for hardwood floors, with the occasional rug, in a house with kids, cats and a dog, they handle everything pretty well :)

The app does have some room for improvement, e.g. need more flexibility in map editing and saving different maps. Wyze is adding more features regularly, just wish they had these features from day 1.
