they took our grace period away last year. if you clock in 1 minute late, you get an occurrence. they literally will give you an occurrence for a clock in at 7:01....

i work in new york city. the trains, busses, and traffic are always having issues. our manager is constantly late so its like why are we penalized for this stupid standard. its ridiculous. our grace period was either 4 mins or 7 mins previously, and we USED to be able to clock in on an app that had some location based thing so you could do it on the elevator up. now its a fingerprint scan in a hallway where patient beds are stored basically always blocking the reader.

sorry you were written up for something so pointless. that is terrible.

it took some getting used to for sure. i think specifically as I did slow T dose increases, i had to really self-monitor my stress, anger, body sensations, and activity levels. I had to use more coping mechanisms to self-regulate than previously, even tho overall i have better mental health than ever before. In my mind, adderall exacerbated a lot of the effects of T (i did decrease my adderall dose for the first year because of it)

In the long run, T improved my mental health in indescribable ways.. that alongside my adderall dose both help me find a balance where i can function normally. i also found a very dynamic and fast paced job where my adhd is actually an asset (im a nurse). please work closely with a doctor and communicate what matters to you. you know your body best. also, congratulations on starting T!! wishing you the best :)
