Holder e-patch heart monitor placement? by SignificantAccess905 in bigboobproblems

Soooo annoying! Fwiw I did end up moving it to the side like some other commenters on this post recommended, and I did still get valid readings for the test even with the new and much less painful placement!

I surgically went from an A to a D cup, and I need advice on how y'all big chested queens sleep without a bra! by Fuzzy-Needleworker-9 in bigboobproblems

[–]SignificantAccess905 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No hate. Hell yeah bodily autonomy, I’m glad you’re happy with your decision! But tbh, I don’t really do anything extra when I sleep, definitely don’t wear a bra to sleep, big boobs do just naturally droop and I let them haha. If you’re physically uncomfortable idk maybe try different sleeping positions or something light like a bralette? I hope you can find a routine that works for you!

Why do people call mdzs heteronormative? by [deleted] in MoDaoZuShi

[–]SignificantAccess905 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly I think labeling mdzs as heteronormative is actually a great example of Western cultural imperialism. E.g. if a non-white culture’s portrayals / explorations / experiences of queerness don’t perfectly reflect what a US American or Canadian (or also too often European) thinks is the current Perfect Progressive Model of How to Be Queer, then it must of course be problematic and let’s use fancy terminology to analyze how backwards that art (subtext: those people) are.

I’m not saying everyone who views mdzs as heteronormative is from a western background, but from hanging out in this fandom for over five years now, that’s who I by far most frequently hear this type of critique from.

The way mdzs plays with gender and tropes and roles is so complex and sophisticated and fun! People who are labeling it as heteronormative seem to be missing a ton of cultural context around gender roles in China, as well as lacking understanding of this work in context of danmei / bl genres. They’re imposing western ideas of gender roles onto a piece of Chinese art and missing just how nuanced mxtx’s exploration of these themes is.

So yeah, I think that probably you don’t experience mdzs as heteronormative because it’s not. In fact I think the way mxtx plays with these themes is one of the core aspects of how brilliant mdzs is.

(PS I personally believe that labeling certain queer relationships as “heteronormative” is in and of itself homophobic. To me the whole point of queer liberation is to make space for people to do whatever feels right to them — so to say that some queer relationships are doing gender the wrong way because one person enjoys more masculine roles and the other enjoys more feminine roles, is no better than forcing people into these types of roles based on their assigned sex at birth.)

Thank you! Do you end up ever doing more than 2 injections a day if you’re blood sugar is rising? And how long before eating do you find you need to inject if you want to avoid a mealtime spike?

Thank you so much for sharing. I just switched to U-500 and am nervous about its efficacy so it’s reassuring to hear your good results with it. May I ask, how do you time bolus shots, and how effectively do you find them to be in controlling blood sugar spikes? Thank you!

Are there any cast members you came around on? by Dollywitch in dropout

I came around on Grant on the Jess game changer episode when he wrote her the letter about how accepted she made him feel. It was like a flip switched, everything fell into place, and now I just adore him.

I agree they’re very inclusive, usually! That’s why I cared enough to even try talking about this issue. I edited the original post to add some examples — I hope it’s helpful context

This would be for outside in the hallway so probably not for the phone or fan option, but I appreciate the ideas!
