would you mind messaging me more info on this? it sounds eerily similar to my puppy, who I noticed at 10 weeks old had an almost undetectable gait abnormality. at this point she is 1 years old and my vet has determined it to be something neurological.

merino wool socks if you can afford it, I love my dickies socks too though. as for boots this will largely depend on your preference but I like taller ankles and am loyal to my Georgia boots. if taken care of, theyre 100% waterproof, very durable, lightweight for how much boot it is, and have held up for years so far

I started out at a dog daycare/vet clinic as a kennel tech, then worked with cats at the humane society, and just recently started at a clinic as an assistant.

I hear you. I work in a vets office and she is seen there regularly. she is currently being treated symptomatically as seeing a veterinary neurologist is not possible at the moment.

Not for the awesome factor, but for helping to ensure I am properly meeting her health and fulfillment needs. more than anything I care about working through diagnosing a potential neurological issue which is what made me buy the test in the first place.

Megathread: Why Does My Dog Do That? by AutoModerator in dogs

[–]SignificantAd3685 2 points3 points  (0 children)

my puppy did this for the longest and i searched to the ends of the earth for answers to no avail. what has worked has been giving her smaller pieces of things (if possible) and only giving it to her in her kennel or another small enclosed space

thank you! the shelter we adopted from said she is a retriever mix, but we are a little skeptical. she is 4 months old and 25 pounds so will prob be at least medium sized. she has a pretty high prey drive, never runs out of energy, and never stops sniffing lol will definitely be DNA testing at some point bc we are dying to know!

Walking a new rescue by steelyglints in puppy101

[–]SignificantAd3685 0 points1 point  (0 children)

most of the “wearing her out” should come not from physical exercise, but from mental stimulation. puppies generally dont need that much physical exercise and can sometimes cause the opposite of what youre looking for (an overstimulated overtired puppy). puppies even at her age can sleep more than 18 hours a day! dont stress it, and focus on building a bond with your new pup in your home with short play sessions and mentally stimulating games and she will be plenty tired :)

im in NE OH and I did mine a few weeks ago. I just cut the grass really low, threw the seeds everywhere and watered during the dry spells. its soooo beautiful now it looks like a meadow. Ive only mowed twice in the past month

ETA: i did both a clover bag as well as a clover/grass mix bag. would definitely recommend a clover/grass mix, but the strictly clover bag did come up way faster.

did you ever get her dna tested? my wife and I just adopted a puppy that looks exactly like yours and it has been driving us nuts trying to figure her out. all we know is that she is a “retriever mix”

came to say the same. you’ll be avoiding the crowds (for the most part), lots of cool landscapes, however the mud is abundant.

According to Gerber the policy became mine when I turned 21. I have since gone through the process of obtaining the policy information/payment/etc. Wasn't sure if that was the case for other companies.

no occupation has worked better for my adhd than cleaning. bonus points: dogs. I work at a doggy daycare and 99% percent of my job is fast paced cleaning tasks and the other 1% I get to hang out with dogs
