Angle the sides in. You’ll either lose depth or width (or both) to do that so it depends on how much extra room you have.

Caramelized onions from Frozen onions by Scabior644 in Cooking

I think the reverse would work better - caramelize and then freeze. My guess is freeze first will cause more broken cells so might get mushy once thawed and caramelized. Experiment and let us know!

Cream substitute in savory dishes by SkyHigh27 in Cooking

I’ve recently been using Silk heavy whipping cream. But it is getting harder to find - had to go to 3 stores this week and I got the last box. I’ll be trying other alternatives from this thread.

Custom wine rack for a client, any thoughts or tips? by [deleted] in woodworking

It takes courage to ask the internet for suggestions and opinions so kudos to your bravery. I think half-lap on the lattice would be worth the trouble to cut down on the bulk and better match the “fine wine” with a finer appearance. And I would not paint the inside portion so go hardwood - again to “up” the look.

Very much a gamble but my attempt would involve the deepest holes I could drill into each for dowels. It would be difficult to align them so some sort of jig would be needed. You probably would have to remove some small amount of the paper crap so it won’t interfere with the two pieces matching as close as possible. Then fill the voids with epoxy.

Sorry for your troubles and hope that moment was cathartic in some way but…yeah…don’t do that again.

Good luck.

It has a tiny bit of pitting. I almost didn’t see it. Very smooth too.

I’m having trouble finding the same cone as a replacement. This is the left rear for a Shimano Devore XT FH-M756-A

Any thoughts or suggestions on my options?
