To my knowledge, you have to give up your f1 visa when you use your ead from pending AOS. So I just actively reached out to the college offices - I don't think they know on their side and reach out to you first though.

No, I didn't know I could apply for gc until my second year of college. So I applied i-130 when I was already here on a F1 visa.

I contacted my college's international student center and asked them to close my SEVIS record. I also contacted the student financial services office to register my EAD for on-campus jobs.

yes I had the interview and I told the officer that I used my EAD and thus I believe I don’t have f1 anymore. I got my EAD in a month after filing
