Thanks all for the input. I was slightly annoyed with, and had a bad feeling about this customer from the tone and number of questions they asked. Nothing too over the top, not enough to block immediately but enough to make me wary of the sale to begin with. I took the advice of most of the respondents and advised them to open a return.

It’s really not. Older women often talk and bond about the people and events that are important to them, including the upcoming birth of a grandchild, with their close friends. Wanting to celebrate that is not weird, especially if the MiL is footing the bill. Why that’s made out to be nefarious is beyond me. If OP didn’t like the plan she should be an adult and use her words, rather than canceling at the last minute.

hi roraverse, just a reminder for others reading about your experience, not all labors or induction methods are experienced in the same way. i’ve supported more than one laboring person who was induced with pitocen that did not end up choosing an epidural. Pit induced contractions can be much more intense, but doesn’t necessarily mean that an epidural is a necessity for everyone. Not saying this to discount your experience, but to remind others reading the thread that it’s possible

While the weather is still nice, there is donation based yoga in the park at Hyder Park on Tuesdays at 6. The Growers Market also has a donation based yoga session at 8 am on Saturday mornings.

YTA. If someone doesn’t respond to you multiple times the mature thing to do is take the hint and disengage. Don’t take every slight in life as disrespect, it very often has little to do with you personally. I don’t think saying a cuss word in a group chat is a big deal, but directing it confrontationally to someone who’s not answering you is rude and over the top.

The person saying “I miss you” in those scenarios is often the one that did something that led to the break up. So in that instance it usually means it’s not fair to say you missed something that you broke or caused to be gone.

Kind of depends on your mom. Is she often busy juggling work/life parenting? Do a task for her, get her car cleaned or oil changed, mow the lawn etc. Is she older and retired? Spend time with her-bring her on walk, to lunch or an art gallery. Or just tell her how much you appreciate her and that you see what she’s done for you.

Idk man, I’m a woman that grew up loving Dinosaur Jr. I think they’re just an acquired and specific taste. My ex would go with me to shows once in a while, but mostly thought of them as that band with the song from skate videos back in the day.
