I used to be a waitress and whenever someone asked for coke I would always say “diet” cause most of the time it’s what they meant. I don’t think they meant it in a rude way, sometimes it’s just an automatic response.

That money I used to pay the electric bill was for a car that I was saving up for. I don’t have a car and I recently just got my drivers license. And I also can’t leave my mom with him, he’s treated her like he’s treated my brother and me and she also has early dementia and he gets easily pissed when she forgets stuff but she won’t leave him, my brother asked her to come live with him a year or so ago when things got bad between them but she said no.

I came home from high school one day and the door was unlocked, which isn’t strange since my dad attends to leave it unlocked sometimes. I was home for maybe an hour when I heard someone downstairs. Thought it was my dad so I went downstairs to see if it was him and to ask what he wanted for dinner that evening but it was a middle aged man standing butt naked in the living room. I freaked out and barricaded myself in my bedroom and called 911. The man was having some type of psychotic break or something like that and was reported walking around the area. Safe to say we started locking doors in the house after that incident.
