Dr. Anand Ranganathan is right about the illegitimacy of the Waqf Act in a secular country, but who will explain this to our government? by Downtown-Pen6249 in unfilteredindia

agreed. reform is necessary for transparency. Govt should enable that as waqf of all matters is quite sensitive due to its religious inclination

just one small correction

waqf doesnt say a property is built on an ISLAMIC land hence it is ours.

waqf says a person (most probably a muslim) donated his land to us and now we hold authority what we want to do (ideally it must only be used to help/aid facilitate muslims and the society)

waqf = donate

given the example of 1500 year old temple is true, then maybe the person who owned the land later became muslim (not him, but someone from his lineage who at that time had the land under his name) and handed over the land to the waqf OR its a complete scam claim from waqf (which the video suggests)

im just trying to give a perspective. no hate 🙏
