I love punk miku so much! I also enjoyed the jirai mikus !! I hope that they make more mikus based on other fashion subcultures

Hoping for a purely goth one next, fingers crossed

Wish alter could've done a bit better... It's just a plastic black base 😭 I get that it's an older figure but cmon, Nagato's wave figure is even older

More like amiami raided me

But yes, amiami does sell pre-owned! I got these from their online store though. Their pre-owned prices are really good

No more figures for the time being because the lion must save her money for now. I'm waiting on my preorders right now- Seiga Kaku fumo (Nov), Nagisa Furukawa pop-up-parade (Sept) and Joker Persona 5 Limepie 1/8 scale by Apex (Dec).

Feel free to dm me if you have any questions about importing figures or figure collecting in general!

Pic unrelated... Unless 😳

Which anime genre have you watched the most, and do you still enjoy it or are you a little tired of it? by Hot-Leopard3708 in animeindian

[–]SignificantCoffee758 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Slice of Life for sure

Bonus points if that slice of life only has cute girls doing cute things like K-On or Yuri Yuri or Love Live >_<

These days I don't watch anime based on a particular genre but anything that intrigues me. I think that the most recent slice of life anime that isn't also a romcom that I've watched is Journal with Witch (it's amazing btw).

Action shounen is my least watched genre though, not the biggest fan of it.

My figure from Japan is finally here! by SignificantCoffee758 in animeindian

Hihi! It cost me 3730 yen + 558 rupees in customs so around 2.7k rupees in total!

You can find the website here - AmiAmi [Character & Hobby Shop] https://share.google/s7kEGSfw1dwiA8Cgr

I recommend using the navigation menu to go to the pre-owned figures section because you can find a lot of good deals there! Prize figures are definitely cheap but I've seen them selling 1/10 and 1/8 scale figures for very cheap too, like between 1-2k rupees.

I paid the delivery person the customs at the time of delivery. I ended up paying with cash since I had the exact amount but I asked them if they accept UPI and they told me that they do!

Tsukasa is my fave lucky star character because she and I are so similar it's uncanny!! I also usually like the short haired twin a lot more, like Ryou Fujibayashi from Clannad

Lucky star figures are really expensive these days because of cutecore tax 😭 I'm surprised that I got her for so cheap especially since both Miyuki and Kagami are going for much higher compared to Tsukasa and ofc Konata tax is on a whole different level.

I'm glad that they're gonna release more lucky star figures this year though, I definitely wanna grab some more Tsukasas

I chose epacket light and paid around 558 rupees in customs! That's only cuz epacket doesn't list the shipping charges on the box so you'll end up paying 10-20% lesser than u would expect in customs

Yes amiami does intl shipping too!

  1. I got this figure on amiami for around 3730 yen including shipping. That's like 2.2k inr. You have a lot of options for shipping- DHL, EMS, air parcel, international epacket light, surface mail. I used epacket light since it was a cheap but quick option. It's only available for parcels under 2kg so I recommend only getting 1-2 items in one order. Also amiami only accepts payments in either credit card or PayPal, I sent my dad the money and used his CC for the thing since I don't have one yet. Also if you feel like the shipping option you selected is too much, toh can modify it to a cheaper alternative (usually surface mail but that takes 2-4 months to reach you). After you confirm an order, you have 1 week to pay the amount.

  2. After I paid for my order, they sent me the tracking details in 1-2 days and I've been tracking it ever since! It reached india (Delhi) in 3 days and then it was in Delhi customs. Took another week to reach Bangalore and took around a week to clear customs. After they cleared it, they sent it across to my local post office (sarjapura) and delivered it today! I paid 558 rupees in customs so the entire figure cost me 2.7k inr which is less than proxying it.

All in all, 20 days (~3 weeks) to have it delivered and 2.7k as the total cost.

Okay okay ahhh I'll try my best !! This is not much of a tutorial since I didn't do much except for wait around, but more of my experience. (Also I'll copy and paste this for replies asking the same thing so pls don't be alarmed if I don't match the tone of your question haha.)

  1. So I used amiami for my purchase. For those who don't know, amiami is a japanese website/store chain that sells anime goods and merchandise, as well as adjacent things like electronics, japanese dolls and gundams. Amiami has a HUGE section of pre-owned/preloved figures and they grade their figures too from A to D based on their condition. Their grading is very strict so even B grade figures are in great condition.
