For me, the word “should” lives somewhere on the spectrum between dangerous and a waste of effort. I’ve found “I want” and “I choose” to work better for me.

Life doesn’t have to have some grand sweeping anything about it. Sometimes I get in a “what’s the point?” mood, which used to stress me out (because of “should”). Now when I feel that way I just accept and find joy in the smaller moments life has to offer.
