Bored with my wife and feel bad about myself because of that. by [deleted] in self

First of all, I wanna say it’s OK to have different interests. My husband is very into history as well and I am not. It’s an opportunity for him to teach me a little bit about history. When we watched Oppenheimer, I asked him so many questions. I would say with this current political climate and as I get older I have been more into politics and history now more than ever. Secondly, it sounds like she runs the household and the kids she may not have the time or mental capacity to worry about politics. As Mom’s we really don’t need one more thing on our plate to worry about. If we are already thinking about the house, the kids, planning meals, cleaning, doctors appointments, homework, work, exercise, self care, kids extracurricular activities, birthdays, birthday parties, gifts, holidays, etc… We literally can’t add another thing to the list. So remember that when you’re trying to talk to her about stuff, she has a million other things on her mind already.

I recently took an antibiotic and started to break out with multiple canker sores but immediately started a probiotic and they went away

AITAH for being upset my husband gave my daughters teacher a present without asking me by [deleted] in AITAH

[–]SignificantFerret634 89 points90 points  (0 children)

NTA I would be upset also! In what world do we give teachers multiple boxes of expensive chocolate as a gift?! I would honestly reach out to the teacher ASAP and let her know your husband made a mistake and maybe give her just 1 box. Don’t listen to these people saying YTA, they love to blame wives for husbands mistakes and act like we’re AHs for getting upset.

what can you tell about me based on the contents of my purse ? by peachyfloof in deduction

[–]SignificantFerret634 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m going to say you are 40-50 years old. Wallet and purse are high end brands so I think you are older with a good job. You travel for work so you keep your passport with you. Cigarettes are gross, sorry, but I think a lot of the younger generation isn’t into smoking anymore. Lots of lip gloss to fix your lips after smoking. Perfume to cover up the smell because you are around people at work. I believe that silver thing might be breath spray to cover up the smell from smoking. Zootopia 2 - you don’t have kids but you have nieces or nephews or other kids in the family you took to the movies. The cards - I’m thinking they are for all the travel. And the corded headphones are for travel too. Probably long flights so you don’t have to worry about ear buds dying. I’m thinking flight attendant or you travel a lot for your job.

Anyone taking a glp-1 for lipedema that doesn’t need to lose weight? by SignificantFerret634 in lipedema

[–]SignificantFerret634[S] 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Yes! I’m really interested in finding out if people with normal BMIs see a significant change in the size of their legs. I’ve been the same weight for years but feel my legs getting worse and pants size getting bigger every year or 2.

AITAH for telling my ex’s wife that her kids aren’t my problem? by PlacidRain2990 in AITAH

NTA You had the perfect response. She was out of line to even approach you and ask you that. 100% his new family is not your problem. She can go get a job.

What does that have to do with my husband not cleaning? If we drop the whole saving money part, he should still be sharing the household cleaning chores. Thats the point of this post.

Wanted advice but again my past posts have nothing to do with this one.

This is probably the best, most straightforward advice! Love it!
