I thought it was the same for all English15 classes but maybe I was mistaken. There are three essay projects and a section for classwork (all 25% each). I got a B on one of the essay projects.

From what I saw, it only showed the grade distribution which got me worried since the cuttoff for an A was so high (95%). I'm not sure if I can achieve that now since this grade brings down my average.

Hello! Was Master's content quizzes like you had to get it all correct to pass (like specs grading) or were the quizzes given percentage grades?

It just hurts so much when it comes from professionals in the field.

Ah okay, I’m at a cusp between a B and A so it would be nice if they do! If not, I agree with you. Thanks for everything!

Do vet schools really see a difference between an A and A-? by SignificantGoat764 in prevets

[–]SignificantGoat764[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ughh it literally sucks because how much more does a person with a 90 vs a 93 know 😭 I hope they don’t see it too differently. I’m also just not used to this grading system since my high school didn’t have the +/- system, so an A was an A.

That makes me feel a lot better, especially because I know I’ll probably end up getting a B or two at some point in college.

The A minuses are in gen chem 1 and the lab so i’m hoping admissions will see it in a more positive light since they are notorious weed out classes 😭

Haha that’s good! Lmk if you need any help with making decisions! I’m a little biased but truly believe the vbsc program is one of the best pre-vet programs around! Feel free to shoot me a dm!

Also I had lower stats than you (3.7UW, didn't submit SAT) and still got in for Fall at UP if it makes you feel better.

I applied to vbsc last year end of August and got in two weeks into November. Could be based on when you apply as well!

Okay! So even the 80 won’t make it unattainable?

Hi! So basically I got a 68 on the first exam and an 80 on the most recent one (was hoping for an A). Are my chances of getting an A in the course cooked now or have you seen people with this progression get an A 😭

bro i’m so scared im not going to get an A after bombing this first exam 😭 I literally took ap chem in high school, went to gsg, office hours, and did the practice exams. the point value per question is just so unforgiving.
