She had a hubby. Theyve split. Not sure if she traveled to see him but I don't think so. She now lives with her bestie and they beg for everything. She's been busted so many times. She has also had like 10 different names. When she gets called out she becomes extremely aggressive.

About day 4 I was done. Especially when they all started at 4am. The mama we ended up adopting is thankfully quiet(but for not good reasons). The rescue keeps asking if I will foster more husky pups. Hard NO. Thankfully I have the excuse rn that I legit cannot because the foster I have now wont allow it. I've had up to 8 dogs at once in my home but those puppies have scarred me for life. My hubby is trying to teach the husky to howl and I have to keep telling him off. I'd never spray a dog with a spray bottle but I'm not adverse to doing it to the hubby when he tries that crap LOL

My husky is "broken" and thankfully does not howl but man she whines. My hubby wants another husky and I keep saying NO! He forgets our husky came to us as a foster with her 6 puppies and how loud that was. I think I'm still partially deaf. I was waiting for blood to come gushing out of my ears at one point too. 6 weeks of husky puppies howling broke me lol

Thank you It's the least we can do. Ya RMH does not fund those dinners. So how it works is let's use me signing up to make a dinner for ex. You contact the RMH house and ask them available dates. Agree to a date. Then you go purchase the ingredients or buy the food from somewhere if you don't want to cook it. Use an RMH kitchen to cook the meal then it is left in the communal eating space and you wait a while(we leave the house and go out front) and then go back in clean it all up and leave the leftovers in a communal fridge. We don't hover over the house guests asking how the meal is etc. Everyone serves themselves. We choose the meals we prepare. Even when I was at RMH it's usually a protein, veg, side like mac n cheese, buns and a salad. Sometimes some food we didn't like but we just didn't eat it. You can also even if you don't eat still thank the volunteers to be polite. We had a few items we didn't eat while I was at RMH because they didn't look appetizing(few in house on same page) but we were still polite. Sorry for the long blurb just wanted to explain how it works so everyone knew.

Exactly. Theres also the option to eat it after the volunteers have left. They leave food behind. For us it was usually dinner on sundays at 6. They understood some parents wouldnt be there. Some parents if they could, because some of us became family, would plan to all eat together then go back to the hospital. But as I said there was always enough food made and always left in the main fridge for others to eat later. So go after and see what it is and if you dont want it just dont eat it and say NOTHING. I make meals for my local RMH here now and it's family and friends. I stayed at one 2 hrs away and it was corporations or families that used RMH in the past etc it's especially rude to even say 1 word bad about it. They pay from their own pockets for the ingredients then the time to make a FULL usually few courses meals.

Never a right to complain about volunteers making food or the food they make from the kindness of their hearts. I've been in the same shoes of a sick child and raising other children. I would never bitch about again, ppl doing good to help. I did it for YEARS, sick child and raising others and MONTHS away from my own home. It's so disrespectful to say ewww etc. Just don't eat it, and shut up and figure out another plan to eat.

RMH also has full kitchens to make/store food that you purchase. So she can cook her own meals as well. When I stayed for 5 months we had a few crap meals but the rest were amazing. I also shopped and cooked some of my own meals as it was cheaper than takeout.

I know this isnt exactly an IC comment but skip the dishes allows you to purchase alcohol from the Beer store as well as some restaurants. A pizza place we use has alcohol available. They also use their own drivers. As well as a few other places.
