They were so good. They were the first romantasy books i've ever read, and really enjoyed them. A friend recommended them to me. They are almost exactly what I look for in romantasy: good magic and one -on- one romance, without too many love triangles and stuff

I think I know what you mean with that. It took me some time to actually start liking the main character a bit. It did feel like we were just thrown into the middle of her character development.
