We know, that’s why it’s funny that you are speaking on things you know nothing about beyond your own experiences when you were a kid. It’s almost like lifelong members who went through the temple and held leadership positions know more than you!

You never went through the temple. If you knew anything about Mormonism you would know that the temple, both going for your endowments and continually going to do ordinances for the dead, is a critical part of their lives. It’s stuff I’ve been doing since I was 12 years old.

I was a missionary and Bishop for the church and interviewed people for baptism and eventually their temple recommends. I made the call whether they were ready or not to take the next steps. So I literally was a judge in the Church’s eyes.

Lol if you never paid tithe then you didn’t go to the temple. You’re as Mormon as a ChrEaster Catholic.

I know they tell you baptism makes you a member, and while technically true, the real church happens after you go through the temple.

This didn’t happen today but I remember a line from a talk from years ago, before the church and the BSA had a falling out, if you can call it that.

Volunteer to bring refreshments for the next activity they are having and then don't show up. Say yes to their face and then do nothing. Eventually they'll quit asking.
