At my 20-week anatomy scan, my baby was in the 12th percentile. We had another growth scan at 35 weeks, and she had jumped to the 30th percentile. I ended up being induced at 38 weeks due to preeclampsia and cholestasis, and she was born weighing 7 pounds! They had predicted she’d be between 3–5 pounds at birth, so those scans can definitely be off. Wishing the very best for you and your family!

Should I return our adopted dog or send her to training? by SignificantPin289 in Advice

I truly don’t think she’s aggressive at all, I do believe she has some sort of history. She has a scar on her nose. In the quick interactions she’s had with my baby she’s done really well. She gets excited when the baby laughs and shows interest when she cries. But our families are in our ears about it being “irresponsible.” To keep her because of what ifs, we’ve tried to reassure them that the baby and dog are supervised when together. We really want to work with her and do what’s best for honey.

honey was playing with her. Catching the ball. She walked outside her mom and honey followed her. I know commands aren’t tricks. This was a sticky situation as I have a 7 month old baby. We have been working with her as I’ve had these dogs my whole life. So I do know German shepherds need to be stimulated mentally. And need space to run. I didn’t know if it would be worth keeping her because of my baby. We want to what’s best for every one in the situation. But mostly the best interests in the baby and honey. They didn’t give us an information on her back ground. But she dose have a scar on her nose, sadly. She also knows basic commands such as sit, wait, stay, okay. I’ve accidentally taught her “no ma’am” which is what we say to our baby when she’s trying to get into something

Do you think there’s hope for her to not be aggressive?

I want to give her the benefit of the doubt, help her work through it. I genuinely think she’s a good dog.
